About us

STERLING PRESSER Architects+Engineers is an international studio for architectural planning and structural concept design, based in Berlin. The studio aims at bringing together the disciplines of architecture and engineering in order to integrate them from the beginning of the design process. It has contributed to a wide range of programs from design objects and sculptures to multi-program theatres and bridges. The team is experienced to work in a variety of cultural and geographical situations and understand the impact of projects in unexpected contexts with a common goal: to achieve sustainable projects.

The Computational Designer will work on projects in conceptual design phases. He will develop parametric design and create 3D model, geometric definitions with corresponding drawing plans, renderings, diagrams and presentations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in architecture, master planning, design or relevant field.
• Practical experience in early design phases such as conceptual and schematic design.
• Experience on large scale projects.
• Strong computational and parametric design skills.
• Strong Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD and Adobe Suite software skills.
• Strong conceptual, graphic and design skills.
• Creative, talented, precise and efficient in producing and coordinating concept designs.
• Fluency in English.
• Good teamwork and comfortable in working with tight timeframes and flexible schedules.
